Change the world.  The Extraordinaries delivers micro-volunteer opportunities to mobile phones that can be done on-demand and on-the-spot, allowing people to engage and support their favorite organizations while on the go.  Tag satellite images, translate websites, or take photos for the organizations YOU care about.  Next time you’ve got a few minutes, reach for your phone and make a difference.
Opportunity:
As the Lead Engineer you will lead the effort to architect, develop, deploy, test, and monitor a cost-effective and sustainable platform for micro-volunteerism (no pressure :) . Strong organizational skills, incredible technical expertise, and ridiculous attention to detail are key in this mission critical role. The Extraordinaries is transforming the way people engage causes and organizations they support, and we’re looking for an Inspired Lead Engineer who wants to help build a platform for massive social good.
