Girls in Tech University is dedicated to empowering, educating, and mentoring female college students interested in entering the technology field. The goal of the program is to create excitement about the industry and encourage those college and university students considering a career in technology to pursue their ambition and meet like-minded women in industry. Girls in Tech University hopes to provide educational resources, business oriented networking events and empowerment & leadership related seminars and workshops at the university level.

Briana Myricks , Director of Girls in Tech University Program
Briana Myricks has been a Girls in Tech volunteer for the LA chapter since September 2010, where she co-planned and promoted a Social Media Day event in Los Angeles. Briana’s role as Director of Girls in Tech University is to assist and encourage young women to pursue careers in technology. Briana has been a “gadget girl” since she was young and has brought technology to marketing and public relations campaigns to numerous businesses and corporations through her consultancy, Engaged Media.
