Lil’ Grams Gives Parents a Platform for Capturing their Baby’s First Steps
For all of you who struggle with trying to think of something unique and helpful to give to new parents when you visit their newborns, I have the
perfect gift for you. If you are like me and try to avoid buying clothes as baby shower or newborn gifts even though it’s the easiest option, newly launched Lil’Grams is the perfect solution. It’s just as easy for you and a ton more useful for the new parents since it addresses a common pain point that most face – capturing, organizing, managing and sharing memories and milestones in their children’s lives with their loved ones. Lil’Grams makes this process as convenient as possible, especially for parents that are always on the go and don’t have a lot of time to manage a blog or send out regular emails with photos.
How many parents do you know that have an inordinate number of pictures and videos at home and don’t know what to do with them or how to share them? Lil’Grams makes it seem almost effortless to beautifully manage and share these important memories, and even better yet, lets your friends and family decide how, when and how often they want to receive updates, or “Grams”, from you. It even integrates with Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and Picasa so don’t worry if your pictures are already somewhere else.
Every new parent gets a physical baby book as a gift, but how much better would it be to have a living, dynamic on-line/mobile baby book that allows parents to capture as many memories as they want as well as address the challenge of keeping all your loved ones updated? Um, what does this have to do with women in technology? Looks like a product placement, and a gender stereotyped one at that. If you’re going to get us 15% discounts on stuff, could you manage, say, laptops or something?

I also agree that this is relevant, because tech savvy mommies (and daddies) will be the ones benefitting the most from this application. They will find it more useful than their less tech savvy counterparts, as they are already active on sties with which Lil’Grams synchs – such as Facebook, Flickr, Twitter and Youtube. And of course, the time savings: women in tech live crazy busy schedules chock full of conferences, blogging, coding, designing.
